Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the use of Honest Record (the "Service"), available at honestrecord.com and operated by Ermaz LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an organisation or using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Honest Record turns bank statement pages and receipt evidence into a donor-format Excel report. It verifies statement rows against the running balance, matches receipts to bank payments, applies learned categorisation rules, and produces the report when its integrity checks pass. It assists bookkeeping; it does not replace the judgement of the person responsible for the accounts, and you remain responsible for the accuracy of reports you send to third parties.

2. Accounts and organisations

You sign in with an email address and a one-time code. A person may belong to one or more organisations and can switch between those workspaces. Each organisation has its own owner, admins and members, and membership is checked separately for every workspace. You are responsible for the people you invite and for keeping your email account secure.

3. Plans, trials and payment

Plans are billed per organisation, monthly, in US dollars, at the prices shown on the pricing page. New organisations receive a free trial of 14 days; no payment method is required for the trial. Each plan includes the stated limits on funds, members and reports generated per month. Regenerating an already generated report does not count again.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as merchant of record. Paddle handles payment collection, applicable taxes and the issuing of receipts, and its terms apply to the transaction. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Team & billing; access continues until the end of the paid period.

5. Your data

You keep all rights to the statements, receipts, rules and reports you upload or create. You grant us the right to process them solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for what is stored, for how long, and which processors are involved.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful bookkeeping of funds you are authorised to administer. You must not upload data you have no right to process, attempt to access another organisation's data, reverse engineer the Service, or use it to produce misleading financial statements.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change features, limits or prices; price changes apply from your next renewal and are announced in advance by email.

8. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ermaz LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You may delete runs and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. On termination we delete organisation data within 60 days, except where retention is required by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless consumer law in your country gives you other rights.
